Removals across every London borough
Jack Removals is based on New Globe Walk in Southwark, a short walk from London Bridge, and moves homes and offices in every London borough and across the Home Counties. A London move is mostly about access: a parking suspension from the council so the van can stand outside, a lift booked with the building manager, a narrow Victorian staircase where a sofa has to come out through a sash window, or a mansion block with a porter who needs notice. We ask about those things when we quote so the right crew size and vehicle turn up, and so nothing on the day comes as a surprise to you or to us.
Outside London we move people door to door anywhere in Britain. Abroad we deliver to four countries only: France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. See the country guides.

On the day
How a move with us actually runs
Every job, from a one-bedroom flat in Bermondsey to a family house in Surrey, follows the same four stages. Nothing is loaded until you have the plan in writing.
Tell us what is moving
Send both addresses and a rough list of rooms. For a full house we may ask for a video walk-round so the vehicle and crew size are right first time.
Get it in writing
The written quote lists the crew, the vehicle, any packing or dismantling, and the cover on your goods. Parking suspensions and lift bookings are agreed at this stage too.
Wrap, label, load
Floors and banisters are protected first. Glassware and pictures are wrapped individually, boxes are labelled by room, and everything is checked onto the van.
Unload room by room
At the new address the same crew carries each box to the room on its label, rebuilds the beds and wardrobes, and takes the blankets and packaging away.
