Our packing service means trained packers come to your home ahead of moving day and pack your belongings into proper removal cartons using paper, bubble wrap and wardrobe boxes we bring with us. You can have us pack the whole home, just the fragile and awkward items, or simply buy the materials and do it yourself. Every packed box is sealed and labelled with its room, so unloading at the new place is quick and nothing ends up in the wrong room.
Full pack, fragile pack or materials only
Full pack is exactly that. We pack every cupboard, drawer, shelf and wardrobe, and you do not touch a box. It suits busy households, people moving from a larger home and anyone who has had enough of tape guns.
Fragile pack is the middle option. We pack the things that break or need skill: glasses, china, mirrors, pictures, lamps, ornaments and electronics without their original boxes. You pack books, clothes, toys and everything else that will not mind a bump. Most people who choose this one say the kitchen alone made it worth it.
Materials only means we drop off cartons, paper, tape and wardrobe boxes, and you pack at your own pace. We will happily show you how to wrap plates on edge and how full to fill a box, because both make a real difference to what arrives in one piece.
What our packers bring
Double-walled cartons in a few sizes, with small ones for books so nobody is lifting a crate of paperbacks. Plain packing paper, which does not leave ink on your plates like newspaper does. Bubble wrap for screens and glass. Wardrobe cartons with a hanging rail so clothes go straight from your rail to the box. Mattress covers, and picture boxes that adjust to the frame.
They also bring the judgement that comes from doing this all the time. Heavy at the bottom, light on top, no empty space for things to rattle around in, and nothing packed so heavy that the bottom gives way. Each box is marked with its room and anything fragile is marked on more than one side.

What affects the cost of packing services
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. Your written quote is worked out from these things:
- Which option you choose: full pack, fragile pack or materials only
- How much is in the home, especially kitchens and books
- The amount of glass, artwork and other fragile items
- Whether you want unpacking at the other end
- Items that need a made-to-measure box or crate
Packing Services questions
Not on a full pack. We would rather pack the contents ourselves so they are wrapped and labelled properly. What you should do is take out anything you want to keep with you: passports, keys, medicine, chargers, paperwork for the sale or tenancy. Put it all in one bag in a room we have agreed not to touch, so it does not get packed by mistake.
Yes. Our terms rule out paints, oils, gas bottles, fuel and anything else flammable or hazardous, so those need to be used up or disposed of before the move. We also leave cash, jewellery and important documents for you to carry yourself. Open food and frozen goods are best used up or given away rather than boxed.
When we pack an item ourselves, we can see how it was protected, which makes any claim simpler. Items you pack are moved with the same care, but if a box you packed arrives with a broken plate inside an undamaged carton, it is hard to show the damage happened in transit. That is a good reason to let us pack the fragile items even if you do the rest.
Yes. Ask for materials only and tell us roughly what you are packing. We will suggest a sensible mix of carton sizes, paper and wardrobe boxes so you are not left with too many large boxes, which tend to get filled with books and end up too heavy to lift safely.
